In Formen von beliebiger Grösse werden so viele Kupfergranalien eingebracht, dass dieselben 25-30% der Oberfläche bedecken, und hernach mit Asphaltmasse beliebiger Zusammensetzung überdeckt und durch Pressen unter eventueller Anwendung erhöhter Temperaturen zu einem einheitlichen Ganzen vereint. Der so entstandene Formling wird sodann auf geeigneten Schleifvorriehtungen auf einer Seite so weit abgeschliffen, dass die von den Granalien   eingeschlossenen Hohlräume   geöffnet werden und der Ziegel dadurch eine porige Oberfläche erhält. 



   Die fertigen Ziegel werden auf geeigneten Unterlagen, wie Betonestrich od.   dgl.,   in Zementmörtel oder in Teer verlegt. Durch die vom Ziegel eingeschlossenen Hohlräume wird dem Pflaster eine erhöhte Haftfestigkeit gummibereiften Fahrzeugen gegenüber gegeben, so zwar, dass auch bei nassem Wetter ein Gleiten oder Rutschen verhindert wird.
