Fernschalter.

Remote switch.
The object of the invention is a remote switch which by means of any Kontaktvomchtung z. B. when a certain temperature limit is exceeded or during other processes, is moved by electromagnetic means and a power circuit switches on or off or switches over.
Compared to other remote switches, the new one differs in its particularly practical, compact arrangement and high operational reliability.
The remote switch is shown in one embodiment in the drawings. Fig. 1 is a front view of the switch with the utility power on; Fig. 2 is a similar view with the utility power turned off; FIG. 3 is part of a floor plan for FIG. 2.
Two coaxial solenoid coils a and b serve as the electromagnetic movement device, which are alternately excited and in turn move a solenoid core c, which drives the arm d of an angle lever d, e. A push rod t engages on the lever arm e, as well as a pull rod g, which engages around the axis of rotation h of the lever arm e by means of a bracket i and to which one end of a tension spring c is attached, the other end of which is attached to the base plate of the switch. The push rod f in turn engages the plate m of a mercury switch it, the melted-down contacts of which are located in the useful circuit to be closed.
In the position according to FIG. 1, the solenoid coil b is excited via the connection terminals 1 and 3 and the core has thereby been moved into the right end position. In this case, the arm d has interrupted the circuit of the coil 11 by means of the contact spring ') and allowed the contact spring q to close the circuit of the solenoid coil a at r, so that the next time current is supplied through the connection terminals 1

turned downwards and holds it in this position. The Queek silver switch n has been moved into the current connection position by means of the push rod f, so that the useful circuit between the connection terminals 1 and 4 is now closed.
If the coil a is then excited, the core e moves the angle lever d, e past the dead center position of the spring k into the position shown in FIG. 2, interrupts the circuit of the coil a at q and r and, by means of the mercury switch n, also interrupts the useful circuit.
In detail, the parts of the switch can be designed differently from the embodiment. What is essential is the mode of action explained above and the overall arrangement, in particular insofar as they are characterized in the following protective claims.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Remote switch, in which two coaxial, alternately excited solenoids by a common switch arm the alternating on or. Cause elimination of their own windings and the useful current, characterized in that, in order to achieve a compact design, the switching arm is designed as an angle lever (d, e), whose arm between the solenoids controls the contacts of the solenoid windings, while its second arm (e) with a tilting device for the utility switch cooperates.
