Single pole automatic switch.
The invention relates to a single-pole automatic circuit breaker in which two movable, conductively connected contacts are placed on two fixed, mutually isolated contacts, and in which a pole piece 1 is arranged between the system of movable contacts, which is attached to the pull-in core of the overcurrent magnet and two wide pole pieces gl'g2 are attached to both sides of the same magnetic shaft e, so that the fields arising between the side poles and the central pole piece are in opposite directions and the arcing arcs created between the contacts are therefore extinguished in the same direction.
The drawing shows schematically in FIGS. 1 and 2 an example embodiment of the automatic switch in the closed position.
The circuit breaker according to the invention consists of two fixed contacts a "a,; these are held by a strip that does not necessarily have to be elastic. The movable contacts b1, b2 (FIGS. 1 and 2) are mounted on a small metal crossbar c, which in turn is carried by an insulating rod cl. The current runs through the lines a1, b1, e1, b2, a2, so that the electric arcs arise when opening between a, bl and b2, a2.
EMI1.1
that its poles run out in an approach gl, g2 (Fig. 1 and 2), between which the contacts al, bl, a2, b2 are accommodated.
The movable armature i of the electromagnet is rotatable about the axis k and ends in a nose 1 (FIG. 2) which is located between the contacts a1, U2.
The magnetic fields between the extension g1 or g2 and the nose 1 have the opposite direction, so that the arcs that arise between them are blown upwards if the winding is arranged accordingly.
A metal angle piece m is attached to the insulating lever cl (FIG. 1), which is connected to the lever d
