    Schmutzsieb fiir Gas. und Wassermesser.   



   Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Gas-und Wassermesser mit einem im Wasser bzw. im Gasstrom liegenden Sieb, um Fremdkörper fernzuhalten, die das Gangwerk in dem Messer verschmutzen oder zerstören wurden. Gemäss der Erfindung ist das Sieb mit einer Manschette oder Mantel versehen, in dessen Flansch es entweder eingesetzt ist oder mit dem es aus einem Stuck hergestellt ist. 



   Die Fig. 1 und 2 der Zeichnung veranschaulichen den Erfindungsgegenstand. 



   In die gebräuchlichen Stutzen a ist das Sieb b eingebracht, das bei c vorzugsweise die Form eines stumpfen Kegels aufweist. Dieses ist von einer Manschette d od. dgl. umgeben, wodurch eine Mulde entsteht, in der zurückgehaltener Schmutz sich ansammelt. Der Siebkörper kann mit seinem abgebogenen Rand in den Flansch der Manschette d eingesetzt sein oder mit dieser aus einem Stück bestehen. Er kann aus Metall, Hartgummi, Zelluloid od. dgl. hergestellt oder als Metallkörper mit einer Schutzhaut gegen Oxydation und Korrosion, z. B. aus einem Kondensat der Phenole, versehen sein.
