Process for the production of special cement with high initial strength.
It is known that the initial hardening of Portland cement is the better, the more alumina the Portland cement is; it is therefore obvious for the purpose of extracting special cements with high

The fact that so far attempts have been made to increase the iron oxide content only at the expense of the alumina content is particularly clear, from the D. R. P. No. 394.005, where the limit values 1 and 1,563 are prescribed for the ratio of alumina: iron oxide, but expressly

On the side, the iron ore cement on the other side and the cements balanced in alumina and iron oxide but kept high in silica on the third side, the cements of the present invention are characterized in that they are both rich in clay

The above analytical figures are not to be understood as strict limits for the composition of the new cements, rather the new cements are distinguished from the previously known ones by the statement that the ratio of silica: (alumina + iron oxide) is less than 1.8, that the ratio Alumina: iron oxide is less than 1'8, and that the ratio of iron oxide: alumina is also less than 1'8. Cements that meet these three conditions have not yet been produced and it is precisely for them that an extraordinarily high initial strength has been determined.
For example, one of the cements produced had the following composition in terms of its main components:
