   Zum Betriebe der Maschine werden der Bürstenmantel und die Rundbürste in derselben Richtung in Drehung versetzt, u. zw. erstere mit geringer und letztere mit hoher Umdrehungszahl. Das Arbeitsgut wird durch die Gosse 18 zugeführt und von der umlaufenden Bürste gegen die Auslauföffnungen geschoben. Hiebei werden die Körner vom Staub gereinigt ; dieser wird durch den im Gegenstrom geführten, bei 12 eintretenden und vom Ventilator erzeugten Luftstrom durch die   Kästchen 7   abgesaugt, gelangt durch den Ringraum des Gehäuses 2 und die   Öffnungen 19, 20   in den Abscheider und wird von dort durch die Kanäle 23 abgeführt. Die Drehung der Rundbürste hat den Zweck, die Ansammlung grösserer Mengen des Arbeitsgutes zu verhindern.
