Sharpening, peeling and brushing machine.
In the previous sharpening and peeling machines with a fixed jacket, the clubs 2 (FIG. 1) are designed in such a way that the angle x which the working side of the clubs enclose with the wall of the emery jacket 4 in the direction of rotation I. is less than 900 and mostly varies between 50 and 800. These clubs, which are arranged at a short distance from the emery shell, drive the grains 3 in front of them, whereby they are pointed and peeled. This arrangement has the disadvantage that not all of the grains come into contact with the jacket uniformly, so that their uniform processing cannot be achieved; In addition, the clubs have to overcome a lot of friction, which means that they consume more power.
The subject of the present invention is a peeling machine with a fixed jacket, which is provided with a racket mechanism, bel which the working sides of the racket a (Fig. 2) with the emery wall 4 in the direction of rotation enclose an obtuse angle a which is greater than 10U ". This arrangement has a completely different effect than that according to FIG.
The grains have not been driven in front of them by the clubs a, but each grain is thrown freely against the emery wall 4, the process being as follows: The grain which, as a result of the speed given to it by the club a, moves along the Emery wall 4 moves, its speed is reduced by the friction on the emery wall and then moves in a trajectory F so that it is caught again by the club. At the first moment the grain seized by the mallet moves centripetally due to its speed, i.e. in direction 5, until it leaves the mallet, driven outward in direction 6 by the centrifugal force.
During this period it has reached the full peripheral speed of the club, so that it is at a speed of g ".
EMI1.1
Rotation along the emery coat is removed from the same in a trajectory F and is detected again by the club. As a result of this operation, every
EMI1.2
has to be worked. Since the racket does not have to reach as close to the emery wall as before and the high friction of the racket causes damage
EMI1.3
The same process takes place if the coat is provided with a brush instead of emery.
