The cavity of the extension 7 and the choice of the length of the tubes 11, 13 allow a certain regulation of the action of the container. The cavity can be filled up to a level which corresponds to the upper end of the tube 11, after which the inflow only begins after the store. If, on cooling, there is a contraction in the attachment and there is direct communication with the outside air through the pipe 11 and the bearing 10, the oil is sucked from the attachment into the container until the level in 7 is at the level of the lower end of the tube 13 is located.
Another advantage of the closed, hollow attachment is that when the container is shaken, oil drops do not get directly into the bearing but into the cavity of the attachment from the container and when equilibrium is restored, this excess of lubricant is sucked back into the container so that the balance is restored without any loss of lubricant
EMI2.1
If shaken very vigorously, the weight of the oil can disturb the state of equilibrium, so that an outflow into the bearing or to the outside can take place. This can be prevented in that the tube 13 is filled with porous mass, which causes a slow flow of the oil.
The shape of the container can be any one without affecting the effect.
In FIG. 2, a modification is illustrated in which a container 1 is provided with an extension containing the drainage space 15, which extension corresponds to the extension 7 in FIG. 1 and is arranged in the lower part of the central filling pipe 16. The conclusion is achieved by a stake 17 in the filling tube, which is something

allow the top of the container and filler tube to replace the drained lubricant.
The highest openings 20 in the tube 16 are located below the upper end of the container, so that an air chamber is secured in the upper part of the container even if the lubricant in the tube 16 overflows due to inattentiveness of the worker when the container is filled. The filling tube is arranged with respect to the container so that it can be conveniently removed as required. It is held by a nut 21 and closed by a cap 22.
EMI2.3
In this embodiment, the horizontal filling tube 23 is provided with a small tube 24 that extends into the vicinity of the lower wall of the container, while an air space 25 is formed in the upper part of the container, which runs out into a pipe socket 26 through which the oil enters the container can be introduced as required without the container being removed from its operating position.
Fig. 4 shows an embodiment with a downward hanging oil container. In this embodiment, a relatively long inlet pipe 27 of small diameter is provided for the bearing. The tube 27 protrudes downwards into the feed tube 28, which has an opening 29 to allow the flow of the oil into the lower part of the tube 28 which is connected to the lower end of the tube 27. The upper part of the container 1 contains an air space 30 with a filling attachment 31 through which the lubricant can be introduced after the end cap has been removed.
5 shows a connecting piece 32 which is relatively small and serves to connect a lubricant line 33 and a connecting piece 34 which is connected to the bearing 10. The connecting piece 32 has an air space 35 on its upper part and is connected to the inlet pipe 33 and the outer air space through the small tubes 36 and 37. The tube 37 is shorter at the bottom than the tube 36 and acts as an air outlet tube from the connector so that the oil can enter through the tube 36 when the device is filled.
In all embodiments of the lubrication container, the same, previously described effect takes place in that the lubrication takes place automatically as required, depending on the bearing temperature.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Lubricating device with a main and an intermediate container, characterized in that the main or the intermediate container is built into the bearing housing or in its immediate vicinity in order to expand the oil and the air above it when the bearing is heated Press, when it cools down, on the other hand, to suck air from the bearing into the main container due to the reduction in volume.
