Abstract

La presente describe Hemípteros proteínas inhibidoras de insectos, métodos de uso de tales proteínas, secuencias de nucleótidos que codifican tales proteínas, los métodos de detección y aislamiento de tales proteínas, y su uso en sistemas agrícolas. Reivindicación 1: Un método para controlar plagas de hemípteros, excluida la planta, la célula vegetal, o parte de la planta obtenida por el método, caracterizado porque el método comprende: a) transformar una célula vegetal con un polipéptido inhibitorio de insectos aislado que comprende la secuencia de amino ácidos establecida en SEQ ID Nº 34; b) regenerar dicha célula transgénica en una planta transgénica; y c) exponer dicha planta, célula vegetal o parte de planta a dicha plaga de hemípteros.
