Reivindicación 1: Un aditivo para combustible que comprende una sal de amonio cuaternario formada mediante la reacción de un carboxilato de alquilo con un compuesto obtenido mediante la reacción de un agente acilante sustituido con hidrocarbilo y una amina para formar una succinimida, en donde la amina tiene la estructura de fórmula (1) en donde A es un ligador de hidrocarbilo con 2 a 10 unidades de carbono e incluye una o más unidades de carbono de este reemplazadas independientemente con un átomo de oxígeno; y R¹ y R² son independientemente grupos alquilo que contienen de 1 a 8 átomos de carbono.
