Abstract

Una configuración de motor y un método asociado a un motor de combustión interna (1), que está conectado a la línea de admisión (3), a la línea de los gases de escape (4), comprendiendo una línea de EGR (11) para recirculación de los gases de escape (A) hacia la admisión (3), y la configuración del motor posee un reformador (6) con un reformador catalítico (8) y un evaporador (7), estando el reformador catalítico (8) montado en la línea de EGR (11), de modo que el combustible reformado sea conducido junto con los gases de escape recirculados hacia la admisión del motor de combustión interna (1). La función es mejorar el proceso en el reformador (6), y, con ello, aumentar la eficiencia del motor. Esto se logra porque hay un intercambiador de calor (4), un reformador catalítico (8) del reformador (6), calentado por medio de un intercambiador de calor (4) a través de los gases de escape (A) del motor de combustión interna (1).
