Abstract

Se divulga un evento de élite de maíz transgénico denominado MZIR098. La presente se refiere a secuencias de ADN de las construcciones recombinantes insertadas en el genoma del maíz y de secuencias genómicas que flanquean el sitio de inserción que se produjo en el evento de élite MZIR098. La presente se refiere además a ensayos para detectar la presencia de las secuencias de ADN del evento de élite de maíz MZIR098, a plantas de maíz y semillas de maíz que comprenden el genotipo del mismo, y a métodos para producir una planta de maíz cruzando una planta de maíz que comprende el genotipo del evento de élite MZIR098 consigo misma u otra variedad de maíz.
