Abstract
Se describe un casete que permite, con un instrumento, realizar un análisis cuantitativo en el momento de la prueba de muestra sin etapas adicionales para el usuario final. El casete incluye una tira de calibración y una tira de muestra. La tira de calibración contiene cantidades conocidas de analito, a partir de las cuales se puede crear una curva de calibración y aplicarla al análisis de la tira de muestra. El casete descripto puede utilizar técnicas de transmisión de luz o reflectancia de luz. El casete puede incluir un puerto de lavado separado para el lavado rápido de una muestra de fondo alta. El casete descripto puede realizar pruebas de diagnóstico para seres humanos, animales, muestras ambientales y/o muestras de alimentos. En algunos casos, los dispositivos y las técnicas descriptos se pueden usar para controlar la eficacia de la terapia farmacológica y el cumplimiento del paciente con respecto a la medicación prescripta por un médico en un entorno de atención.
