Abstract
Un aparato (1) para procesar una señal de audio de entrada (100) comprende un evaluador (10) para evaluar una sonoridad de la serial de audio de entrada (100) para determinar un rango de sonoridad (LRAⁱₙ) y un valor de sonoridad real. Un calculador (11) determina una función de transferencia del compresor sobre la base del rango de sonoridad determinado (LRAⁱₙ), sobre la base de un rango de sonoridad objetivo (LRAᵈₑₛ) y sobre la base del valor de sonoridad real determinado. El calculador (11) además determina al menos una ganancia de control del rango de sonoridad sobre la base de la función de transferencia del compresor determinada. Un ajustador (12) proporciona una señal de audio de salida (101) sobre la base de la señal de audio de entrada (100) y sobre la base de la al menos una ganancia del control del rango de sonoridad determinado.
