Un chasis (1) de módulo autoportante dispuesto para ser posicionado en un extremo de vehículo que conforma un habitáculo, caracterizado porque este chasis (1) comprende al menos: una primera estructura (2) rígida que forma al menos una parte alta del habitáculo, una segunda estructura (3) rígida que forma al menos una parte baja del habitáculo, al menos un montante estructural vertical (4) de soporte que conforma una unión entre la primera estructura rígida (2) y la segunda estructura rígida (3) del habitáculo, de manera tal que la primera estructura rígida (2) es posicionada en voladizo respecto de la segunda estructura rígida (3).
