Abstract
Un sistema de computación ejecuta un método de fusión de datos puntuales con promedios de área. El procedimiento de fusión es coherente, en el sentido de que el sistema de computación toma en cuenta lo que representan los promedios de área con respecto a los datos puntuales. El objetivo general es ajustar un modelo que toma en cuenta la información derivada de ambos conjuntos de datos. Los promedios de área proveen una estimación de lo que debería ser la integral de un modelo que representa el comportamiento de la variable ambiental sobre un distrito particular y los valores puntuales indican el valor estimado en ubicaciones particulares. Por lo tanto, la integral del modelo ajustado sobre un distrito de la cuadrícula debería aproximar el valor provisto por los promedios de área, mientras que también aproxima el valor provisto por los datos puntales de las ubicaciones que son provistas por los datos puntuales.
