Abstract
En un método para el calentamiento inicial de un reactor de conversión en una planta de síntesis de amoníaco, el calentamiento por medio del uso convencional de un calentador alimentado con gas es reemplazado por el calentamiento inductivo. El calentamiento inductivo se obtiene utilizando una corriente alterna de alta frecuencia, la cual se pasa a través de una bobina inductiva ubicada dentro del reactor, especialmente montada dentro de una carcasa de presión. El método hace posible conducir reacciones a altas temperaturas y altas presiones de una manera muy eficiente.
