Abstract

Se proporcionan sales de determinados herbicidas de auxina sintética. Estas semisales son de utilidad para controlar el crecimiento de plantas no deseadas. Las semisales tienen baja solubilidad en agua, baja volatilidad respecto de composiciones comerciales de los correspondientes herbicidas de auxina sintética y ofrecen un rendimiento herbicida comparable cuando se comparan con sales existentes de herbicida de auxina sintética. Reivindicación 1: Una semisal de un herbicida de auxina sintética. Reivindicación 2: La semisal de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1 que tiene la fórmula (1), en donde R es, de modo independiente, H o CH₃; n es un número entero seleccionado de 1, 2 ó 3; Ar es un grupo fenilo o piridina sustituido con uno o varios sustituyentes seleccionados de halógeno, alquilo C₁₋₆, haloalquilo C₁₋₆, alcoxi C₁₋₆, amino, alquil C₁₋₆-amino y di(alquil C₁₋₆)amino; y M es un catión.
