Abstract

Esta divulgación se refiere a composiciones y métodos para promover la transcripción de una secuencia de nucleótidos en una planta o célula de planta, utilizándose un promotor de un gen similar a metalotioneína (mtl) de Panicum virgatum. Algunas formas de realización se refiere a un promotor de un gen similar a metalotioneína (mtl) de Panicum virgatum que funciona en las plantas de manera de manera de promover la transcripción de secuencias de nucleótidos operativamente ligadas. Reivindicación 1: Un casete de expresión de genes que comprende un promotor ligado operativamente a: a) una secuencia de poliligadores; b) un gen no similar a metalotioneína; o c) una combinación de a) y b), en donde dicho promotor comprende una secuencia de polinucleótidos que tiene una identidad de secuencia de al menos el 90% con la SEQ ID Nº 1.
