Abstract
Un método para la disolución ácida del LiCoO₂ contenido en el cátodo de baterías ión litio, empleando como agente lixiviante ácidos acético o tartárico, estando el método caracterizado porque comprende una primer etapa y una segunda etapa, en donde dicha primer etapa comprende el paso de la separación de los componentes del cátodo, en tanto que dicha segunda etapa comprende el paso de la disolución del LiCoO₂ puro con al menos un ácido. El método permite lograr un proceso completo de reciclado de bajo impacto ambiental y económicamente viable.
