Abstract
Una hélice formada a lo largo de las líneas de un vortex, por ejemplo una espiral de Fibonacci proyectada sobre una superficie formada por una hipérbola cuadrada. Los fluidos fluyen de manera uniforme siguiendo la extensión de la hélice sin menos turbulencia permitiéndole el funcionamiento a una inclinación alta sin detenerse y con requerimientos de energía menores para una determinada proporción de flujo. La forma geométrica fundamental de un vortex es una espiral logarítmica equiangular también conocida como espiral dorada o espiral de Fibonacci como la que a menudo se encuentra en objetos naturales que van desde conchas marinas hasta galaxias espirales. Cuando se lo observa en tres dimensiones, el flujo de fluido en un vortex puede dibujarse como una proyección de una espiral dorada sobre una superficie de revolución de una hipérbola cuadrada donde el vértice es igual a uno y el foco es igual a la raíz cuadrada de 2.
