Abstract
Reivindicación 1: Un proceso para la recuperación de metano de un gas que contiene hidrocarburos, donde el proceso comprende: (a) el enfriamiento y la condensación por lo menos parcial de una corriente de alimentación que comprende el gas que contiene hidrocarburos a fin de producir una corriente de alimentación enfriada, donde el gas que contiene hidrocarburos comprende un rango de 0.5 a 30 por ciento en moles de nitrógeno; (b) el fraccionamiento de por lo menos una porción de la corriente de alimentación enfriada en una columna de destilación a fin de formar una corriente inferior pobre en nitrógeno y una corriente superior rica en nitrógeno, donde el fraccionamiento se produce a una presión en el rango de 1 a 8 MPa, donde la corriente superior rica en nitrógeno comprende por lo menos 75 por ciento del nitrógeno originalmente presente en el gas que contiene hidrocarburos; y (c) la recuperación de por lo menos una porción de la corriente inferior pobre en nitrógeno a fin de formar una corriente enriquecida en LNG. Reivindicación 21: Una instalación para la recuperación de gas metano líquido (LNG) de un gas que contiene hidrocarburos, donde la instalación comprende: un intercambiador de calor primario que tiene allí dispuesto un primer paso de enfriamiento, donde el primer paso de enfriamiento está configurado para enfriar el gas que contiene hidrocarburos hasta un gas que contiene hidrocarburos enfriado; una columna de destilación en comunicación fluida con el primer paso de enfriamiento, donde la columna de destilación comprende una primera entrada para recibir el gas que contiene hidrocarburos enfriado, donde la columna de destilación está configurada para separar el gas que contiene hidrocarburos enfriado en una corriente superior rica en nitrógeno y una corriente inferior pobre en nitrógeno; un segundo paso de enfriamiento dispuesto dentro del intercambiador de calor primario en comunicación fluida con la columna de destilación, donde el segundo paso de enfriamiento está configurado para enfriar la corriente inferior pobre en nitrógeno hasta una corriente líquida enriquecida en LNG; un tercer paso de enfriamiento dispuesto dentro del intercambiador de calor primario en comunicación fluida con la columna de destilación, donde el tercer paso de enfriamiento está configurado para enfriar la corriente superior rica en nitrógeno hasta una corriente rica en nitrógeno enfriada; un sistema de reflujo en comunicación fluida entre el tercer paso de enfriamiento y la columna de destilación, donde el sistema de reflujo está configurada para separar la corriente rica en nitrógeno enfriada en una corriente de reflujo líquida y un subproducto de vapor; y un único ciclo de refrigeración mixto de recirculación dispuesto por lo menos en forma parcial dentro del intercambiador de calor primario.
