Abstract
Un método para detectar automáticamente una característica retiniana utilizando un sistema oftalmológico de imagenología puede incluir: adquirir una imagen de tomografía de coherencia óptica (TCO) de una retina, segmentar la imagen de TCO, generar una medición según la imagen de TCO segmentada, detectar la característica retiniana según la medición y proporcionarle al usuario una indicación de la característica retiniana detectada. Un sistema oftalmológico de imagenología puede incluir: un sistema de TCO configurado para adquirir una imagen de una retina, un dispositivo informático acoplado al sistema de TCO y configurado para segmentar la imagen, generar una medición según la imagen segmentada y detectar una característica retiniana según la medición, y un dispositivo sonoro / visual / táctil comunicado con el dispositivo informático y configurado para proporcionarle al menos una de una indicación sonora, visual y táctil de la característica retiniana detectada a un usuario.
