Abstract
La presente se refiere a un cable de energía que comprende al menos un núcleo del cable, el cual comprende un conductor eléctrico, una capa entrecruzada aislante de la electricidad y partículas de zeolita situadas en el núcleo del cable. Las partículas de zeolita son capaces de extraer y absorber los subproductos que derivan de la reacción de entrecruzamiento, con alta eficiencia y de modo irreversible, para evitar la acumulación de la carga espacial en el material aislante durante la vida útil del cable. Por otro lado, la presente se refiere en un método para extraer los subproductos del entrecruzamiento desde una capa entrecruzada aislante de la electricidad de un núcleo de un cable de energía, el cual comprende: fabricar el núcleo de un cable de energía que comprende partículas de zeolita; calentar el núcleo de un cable de energía hasta una temperatura que cause la migración de los subproductos del entrecruzamiento desde la capa entrecruzada aislante de la electricidad y luego colocar un blindaje metálico alrededor del núcleo de un cable de energía. Las partículas de zeolita absorben de un modo sustancial e irreversible algunos de los subproductos del entrecruzamiento durante el paso de calentamiento, en tanto que una fracción de los subproductos del entrecruzamiento -que es gaseosa a temperatura ambiente, tal como metano, o que tiene un bajo punto de ebullición- se elimina, haciendo que la misma se difunda fuera del núcleo del cable.
