Abstract
Una composición formadora de espuma y método de uso de la misma para recuperación de petróleo mejorada. Dicha composición formadora de espuma comprende un surfactante de sulfonato aniónico, en donde el surfactante de sulfonato aniónico es biodegradable y tiene baja toxicidad acuática. El método para recuperar petróleo de un yacimiento comprende la inyección periódica de gas y dicha composición formadora de espuma en el yacimiento y contactar el petróleo en el yacimiento con la espuma, con el fin de ayudar en la recuperación de petróleo del yacimiento.
