Abstract

Un método para procesar arsénico que incluye un proceso de calcinación en el que un mineral de cobre que contiene arsénico se calcina en una atmósfera de gas inerte para separar calcopirita de una materia volátil que contiene sulfuros de arsénico; y un proceso de tratamiento térmico en el que la materia volátil obtenida en el proceso de calcinación se termotrata en una atmósfera de gas inerte para disolver los sulfuros de arsénico en la materia volátil.
