Abstract

En la presente se divulgan sistemas de procesamiento y procesos para llevar a cabo un proceso enzimático en lotes o continuo para la producción de alquil ésteres de ácidos grasos para utilizar en la industria de los biocombustibles, alimentos, cosméticos, productos farmacéuticos y detergentes. Reivindicación 1: Un sistema de procesamiento para la transesterificación/esterificación de una fuente de ácidos grasos con un alcohol, para formar alquil ésteres de ácidos grasos, que comprende: un recipiente de reacción configurado para hacer reaccionar un medio de reacción que incluye una fuente de ácidos grasos y al menos un alcohol y un donante de alcohol en presencia de una preparación de lipasa inmovilizada, en donde la preparación de lipasa inmovilizada comprende al menos una lipasa inmovilizada en un soporte poroso hidrófobo y en donde dicho procesamiento se configura para pasar el medio de reacción a través de dicha preparación de lipasa inmovilizada en una dirección al menos parcialmente opuesta a la gravedad.
