Abstract
Una proteína insecticida, gen que la codifica y sus usos. La proteína insecticida comprende: (a) una proteína que consiste en una secuencia de aminoácidos mostrada por la SEQ ID Nº 2; o (b) una proteína derivada de (a) que consiste en una secuencia en una secuencia de aminoácidos por substitución, deleción o adición de uno o más residuos de aminoácidos de las secuencias de aminoácidos en (a), y que tienen actividad insecticida; o (c) una proteína generada por la expresión de moléculas de ácidos nucleicos que contienen una secuencia de nucleótidos de la SEQ ID Nº 1; o (d) una proteína generada por la expresión de moléculas de ácidos nucleicos que contienen una secuencia complementaria que se hibrida con la SEQ ID Nº 1 bajo condiciones rigurosas; o (e) una proteína generada por la expresión de moléculas de ácidos nucleicos que contienen secuencias de nucleótidos isocodificadoras con las secuencias de nucleótidos en (d). La proteína insecticida tiene un alto nivel de expresión y fuerte toxicidad contra plagas de insectos.
