Abstract
Proceso para producir un alimento de rosetas de maíz compactadas y alimento producido mediante dicho proceso. Este proceso permite producir un alimento de rosetas de maíz compactadas a través de cuyas etapas de producción, enfriamiento, dosificación, calentamiento, compactación y expulsión y envasado, se producen rosetas de maíz que son sometidas a compactación hasta conformar porciones de alimento compactado. La presente también se refiere al alimento producido que consiste en una compactación de rosetas de maíz y edulcorante cocidos sin materia grasa. El alimento producido también puede incluir diversos componentes alimentarios aditivos. Las distintas variantes del receptáculo de compactación utilizado permiten obtener distintas conformaciones tales como bocadillos, barras alimenticias, bloques u otras.
