Abstract

Un suplemento de micronutrientes que se fabrica haciendo reaccionar un óxido de metal, o hidróxido de metal, o carbonato de metal de un mineral esencial y un ácido y/o una sal de metal de un mineral esencial que contiene un ligante digerible para formar una suspensión de cristales de micronutrientes y un ligante digerible y formando partículas aglomeradas de los cristales de micronutrientes a partir de la suspensión. Las partículas aglomeradas proporcionan un suplemento de micronutrientes de flujo libre, de escasa formación de polvo que puede producirse con tamaños de partículas y densidades deseadas para ser fácilmente mezclado con una variedad de mezclas de comidas. El ligante digerible en las partículas aglomeradas reduce la oportunidad para interacciones entre los cristales de micronutrientes y otros ingredientes que pueden estar presentes en las mezclas de comidas complejas permitiendo al mismo tiempo la liberación de los micronutrientes en el sistema digestivo de un animal.
