Abstract
Un método para optimizar la operación de un procesador en un sistema de procesamiento que incluye uno o varios filtros digitales se proporciona de acuerdo con la presente. El método incluye generar coeficientes de filtro iniciales para el único o los varios filtros digitales del sistema de procesamiento, determinar uno o varios coeficientes de filtro iniciales para al menos un filtro digital del único o de los varios filtros digitales que se pueden desestimar y desestimar el único o los varios coeficientes de filtro iniciales. El desestimar el único o los varios coeficientes de filtro iniciales reduce la cantidad total de coeficientes de filtro que ha de usar el sistema de procesamiento.
