Abstract

En una forma de realización, se provee un gato hidráulico con una primera porción y una segunda porción. La primera porción está incorporada a la primera sección de una estructura y la segunda porción está incorporada a la segunda sección de la estructura. Cuando un fluido presurizado es forzado entre la primera porción y la segunda porción, se transfiere una carga a la primera sección y la segunda sección por presión del fluido en la primera porción y la segunda porción. La primera sección y la segunda sección son separadas por la carga, creando o ampliando por lo tanto, al menos un espacio vacío en la estructura. El fluido presurizado llena o parcialmente llena uno o más del al menos un vacío, aumentando así el área de superficie efectivamente normal a la dirección de la carga en contacto con el fluido presurizado.
