Abstract
La presente solicitud provee un detector de radiacion para detectar tanto la intensidad como la direccion de una o más fuentes de radiacion que comprende un sensor de radiacion, un colimador inverso que protege a modo de escudo el sensor de por lo menos una porcion de la radiacion incidente que se origina desde la direccion en la cual el colimador inverso está apuntado y un medio para apuntar el colimador inverso en diferentes direcciones. De acuerdo con otro aspecto de la solicitud, se provee un método para detectar tanto la intensidad como la direccion de una o más fuentes de radiacion que comprende las etapas de proveer un sensor de radiacion, proveer un colimador inverso que protege a modo de escudo el sensor de por lo menos una porcion de la radiacion incidente que se origina desde la direccion en la cual el colimador inverso está apuntado, proveer un medio para apuntar el colimador inverso en diferentes direcciones, apuntar el colimador inverso en una direccion, registrar la direccion en la cual el colimador inverso está apuntado y registrar la senal desde el sensor, repitiendo las dos etapas precedentes una o más veces para una o más direcciones diferentes.
