Abstract
La presente solicitud se refiere a un elemento de colada (30) para una instalación de colada para la transferencia de metal líquido que comprende una pluralidad de elementos de colada en contactos sucesivos y que forman un canal para el flujo del metal, comprendiendo el elemento de colada (30) un tubo, particularmente un tubo de cuchara, cuyo eje corresponde al eje del canal. El elemento de colada es adecuado para entrar en contacto con un elemento que se encuentra más arriba de la instalación y comprende los medios (42) para controlar la orientación angular del tubo según su eje con respecto al elemento que se encuentra más arriba, siendo estos medios adecuados para conferir por lo menos tres orientaciones distintas al tubo. Reivindicación 10: Procedimiento de colada en una pluralidad de instalaciones de colada (10) para la transferencia de metal, comprendiendo cada instalación una pluralidad de elementos de colada (12; 20; 18) en contactos sucesivos que forman un canal para el flujo del metal, utilizando el procedimiento un elemento de colada (30; 50) de acuerdo con una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 8, y estando caracterizado porque comprende las siguientes etapas: se introduce el elemento de colada (30; 50) en una primera instalación de colada para que el tubo sea colocado en una primera orientación según su eje con respecto a un elemento (20) que se encuentra más arriba de la primera instalación (10), se procede a las operaciones de colada, se retire el elemento de colada (30; 50) de la primera instalación, se reiteran las tres etapas precedentes colocando el elemento de colada (30; 50) respectivamente en una segunda, luego una tercera instalación, para que el tubo sea colocado respectivamente en una segunda, luego una tercera orientación según su eje con respecto a un elemento (20) que se encuentra más arriba de la segunda y de la tercera instalación (10).
