Abstract
Se describen un método y un aparato para proveer información de control para una transmisión del enlace ascendente de portadoras múltiples. Una unidad de transmisión/recepción inalámbrica (WTRU) puede establecer un happy bit para las transmisiones de un canal dedicado mejorado (E-DCH) en cada portadora del enlace ascendente que considera la capacidad de transmisión agregada en todas portadoras del enlace ascendente. El happy bit se establece como "unhappy" si la WTRU está transmitiendo tantos datos programados como lo permita un permiso en servicio actual, la WTRU tiene suficiente potencia disponible para transmitir a una velocidad superior y el estado del buffer del E-DCH total (TEBS) requiere más de un período preconfigurado a transmitir con una velocidad de datos efectiva actual agregada, en todas portadoras del enlace ascendente. La WTRU puede enviar la información de programación que incluye la capacidad de potencia medida en la portadora del enlace ascendente de anclaje y/o la capacidad de potencia medida en la portadora del enlace ascendente suplementaria. Para las mediciones de la capacidad de potencia, la WTRU puede iniciar un bucle del canal físico dedicado de vida breve en la portadora suplementaria.
