Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método de transferencia de portador que incluye recibir (S34) un reporte de medición de un móvil que proporciona información con respecto a la pérdida de trayectoria como se mide en el móvil para uno de los múltiples portadores de servicio en el enlace descendente. El portador de servicio es el portador sobre el cual el móvil se comunica en el enlace ascendente. El método adicionalmente incluye enviar selectivamente (S36, S38) una instrucción al móvil para transferir uno de los múltiples portadores que no son de servicio dependiendo si un requerimiento de umbral asociado con el portador de servicio se ha cumplido. El cumplimiento del requerimiento de umbral se basa en el reporte de medición recibido, y cada uno de los múltiples portadores tiene un requerimiento de umbral asociado.
