Abstract
Se describen un método y un aparato para recibir simultáneamente en dos portadoras y llevar a cabo la transmision discontinua (DTX) y la recepcion discontinua (DRX) en acceso a paquetes de enlace descendente de alta velocidad de celda dual (DC-HSDPA). Una unidad de recepcion/transmision inalámbrica (WTRU) recibe un mensaje para activar la DRX para una portadora de anclaje o una portadora complementaria -al menos para una de ellas- y aplica el mismo patron de DRX a la portadora de anclaje y a la portadora complementaria, en el momento en que recibe el mensaje. El mensaje puede ser recibido mediante una orden del canal de control compartido de alta velocidad (HSSCCH). La WTRU puede activar o desactivar la portadora complementaria, basándose en la senal de la capa física. En el momento de la activacion de la portadora complementaria, la WTRU puede aplicar el mismo patron de DRX, tanto en la portadora de anclaje como en la portadora complementaria. La WTRU puede despejar un buffer del pedido de repeticion automática híbrida (HARQ) asociado con la portadora complementaria en el momento de desactivacion de la portadora complementaria.
