Abstract

Biogases such as natural gas and other gases capable of being obtained biologically by digestion of organic matter, become a liquid hydrocarbon fuel that is burned cleanly, in a process in which a biogas is fed to a reaction vessel, in where the biogas comes into contact with a liquid fraction of petroleum and a transition metal catalyst immersed in the liquid, a vaporized gaseous product is removed from a vapor space above the level of the liquid, condensed, and condensed feeds into a product container, where the condensate is separated from the uncondensed gas and removed as the liquid fuel product. The uncondensed gas can be recycled to the reaction vessel.
