Abstract

La presente proporciona un método para tratar material fibroso con contenido de lignina para reducir su susceptibilidad al amarilleo, que comprende estabilizar la lignina del material con un agente oxidante capaz de oxidar grupos fenolicos o grupos similares que pueden soportar reacciones que conduzcan a la formacion de sitios coloreados en las fibras y tratar el material con un agente blanqueador fluorescente. La presente también proporciona un material con contenido de lignina obtenido por dicho método.
