Abstract

Un método para la identificacion de genes involucrados en procesos neurodegenerativos detectables por la manifestacion tardía de un fenotipo asociado a neurodegeneracion mediante un relevamiento genético de genes desregulados, que comprende la medicion de esquenas de actividad sueno-vigilia en distintos estadios de la vida, joven y adulto, de individuos de un modelo animal, tal como Drosophila. Una mosca cuyo genoma comprende una descripcion en su gen enabled mutante con reduccion de la expresion del gen enabled, y exhibiendo un genotipo neurodegenerativo de comienzo tardío en la adultez.
