Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para identificar células madre mesenquimales senescentes creciendo en cultivos in vitro, que comprende: medir la longitud de los telómeros, determinar el nivel de ploidía en la célula, analizar la presencia de mitosis multipolares y analizar la expresión de los genes SCIN, AKAP9, EDN-1, CXCL1, CXCL12 y CD70 y, además, de los genes HIST1H4C, HIST1H4L, HIST1H1C, CENPM, DYNLT3, SPC25, GTSEl, CDC45L, PLKl y SKA3. Este método puede ser de utilidad para la realización de estudios de estabilidad genética en los cultivos de células madre mesenquimales cuyas células van a ser empleadas en terapia celular, lo que permite identificar y seleccionar aquellos más estables y apropiados para tal fin.
