Abstract

Un conector que incluye un cuerpo de conector anular hecho sustancialmente de cobre y una porcion de inserto anular hecha de bronce y revestida con estano. Se proveen aberturas a través de la pared de la porcion de inserto. La porcion de inserto esta configurada para tener un ajuste exterior friccional con el cuerpo del conector. La insercion de un cable de aluminio de filamentos multiples dentro de la porcion de inserto anular y la deformacion del cuerpo de conector, la porcion de inserto y el cable, hace que los filamentos externos del cable de aluminio sean extruidos a través de la pluralidad de aberturas, removiendo, película de oxido de la superficie externa del cable de aluminio y formando una conexion eléctrica sellada entre el cable de aluminio y el cuerpo del conector de cobre.
