Abstract

Reivindicacion 1: Un método para seleccionar embriones haploides caracterizado porque comprende a) polinizar una primera planta de maíz con el polen de una línea inductora de maíz haploide para producir embriones, donde dicha línea inductora de maíz haploide comprende un polinucleotido expresado que es letal para el embrion, un polinucleotido que impide la transmision del polen, y un polinucleotido expresado letal para el embrion; b) producir embriones haploides y embriones diploides no viables; y c) seleccionar los embriones de maíz haploides.
