Abstract
Reivindicación 1: Un método para preparar una lente antimicrobiana compuesta por una sal de metal, en donde dicho método comprende los pasos de (a) tratar una lente curada, una solución que comprende, consiste esencialmente en, o consiste en un precursor de sal y una cantidad efectiva de una substancia ácida, en donde el pH de dicha solución es menos que alrededor de 7,0; y (b) tratar la lente del paso (a) con una solución que comprende, consiste esencialmente en, o consiste en agente de metal y una cantidad efectiva de una substancia ácida, en donde el pH de dicha solución es menos que alrededor de 7,0.
