Abstract

Un método y aparato para inyectar sucesivamente multiples chorros material polimérico a una pluralidad de cavidades de molde para formar artículos de multiples capas. Se inyecta simultáneamente un primer chorro de más de 50 % del peso total del artículo de un primer material polimérico aplicado a una pluralidad de cavidades de molde utilizando, en cada cavidad, una cámara de volumen predeterminado que está precargada con el primer material polimérico. Se inyecta simultáneamente un segundo chorro de no más de 10% del peso total del artículo de un segundo material a todas las cavidades comenzando a continuacion del comienzo del paso de aplicacion del primer chorro.
