Abstract

Un método y aparato para analizar y ajustar la operacion de un dosificador de semillas. Un detector es soportado adyacente a las celdas de semillas dentro de un alojamiento de dosificador de semillas y provee una indicacion de la presencia o ausencia de semillas en las celdas. Un procesador recibe las indicaciones de presencia de semillas y provee una lectura al operario para facilitar los ajustes al sistema dosificador de semillas para mantener una sola semilla por celda de semillas en la poblacion de semillas dada. En una realizacion, el detector es una cámara de video y la lectura incluye una representacion en movimiento lento de las celdas de semilla corriente debajo de un individualizador de semillas. En otra realizacion, hay una fuente de luz ubicada sobre un lado de las celdas de semillas, y hay un detector de luz ubicado sobre el extremo opuesto de la celda de semilla para determinar la presencia o ausencia de material en la celda.
