Abstract

Partículas de sílice peletizado caracterizadas por una forma redonda y una distribucion de tamanos de partícula monomodal, que se producen dispersando partículas de sílice en agua, agregándole agua a la dispersion, mezclando con alcoxisilano, vertiendo la mezcla en un solvente orgánico, filtrando y lavando las partículas de sílice obtenidas. Las partículas de sílice peletizado pueden usarse para producir monolitos de vidrio.
