Abstract

Un método y un dispositivo para realizar entrega independiente de media (MIH) en un sistema de comunicacion inalámbrica. El método incluye, y el aparato está configurado para, generar un mensaje de entrega de capa más alta, enviar el mensaje de entrega de capa más alta encapsulado en una comunicacion formateadas de menor nivel, establecer un dispositivo temporizador de capa más alta para un periodo de tiempo finalizado en conexion con el envío del mensaje de entrega encapsulado de capa más alta y el reenvío del mensaje de entrega de capa más alta encapsulado en una comunicacion formateada de menor nivel a menos de que sea recibido un reconocimiento de capa más alta antes de la expiracion del periodo de tiempo finalizado.
