Abstract

Un sistema de alto rendimiento, aparatos y métodos utiles para analizar de manera eficaz formulaciones líquidas experimentales aplicadas a las plantas. En distintas realizaciones, el sistema de alto rendimiento incluye un subsistema para dispensar formulacion líquida (LFDS). El LFDS incluye una plataforma movil automatizada para placas de especímenes para sostener al menos una placa de especímenes. Cada placa de especímenes incluye un conjunto de cavidades que contienen los especímenes de plantas. El LFDS se puede operar para posicionar de manera secuencial una cavidad seleccionada en una posicion de cavidad objetivo. Una vez que se posiciono una cavidad seleccionada en la posicion objetivo, un conjunto micro-aspersor, que incluye al menos un aplicador de formulacion líquida, aplica cantidades discretas de una formulacion líquida a los especímenes de plantas dentro de cada cavidad seleccionada.
