Abstract
Técnicas para soportar de manera flexible diferentes anchos de banda en un sistema de comunicacion inalámbrico. El sistema soporta un ancho de banda de operacion configurable utilizando un diseno de ancho de banda fijo y bandas de guarda variables. Los valores para los diversos parámetros tales como el tamano de la transforma rápida de Fourier (FFT), la longitud del prefijo cíclico, y la velocidad de la muestra se puede seleccionar en base al diseno de ancho de banda. El diseno de ancho de banda se puede asociar con K sub portadores totales. Se pueden soportar diferentes anchos de banda de operacion seleccionando diferentes cantidades de sub portadores utilizables. Un transmisor y un receptor pueden llevar a cabo el procesamiento para una transmision utilizando el mismo tamano de FFT, longitud de prefijo cíclico, y velocidad de muestra sin importar el ancho de banda de operacion seleccionado. El sistema puede utilizar diferentes anchos de banda de operacion y/o diferentes valores de parámetros (por ejemplo, tamanos de FFT) para diferentes porciones de una transmision, por ejemplo, un preámbulo y un cuerpo principal de la transmision.
